I started studying Nutritional Therapy because I am passionate about natural health. Naturopathic nutrition stresses the use of whole and organic foods which is very appealing to me. I believe that what we eat will support the body to promote health and wellbeing.
I have experienced first hand the positive effects a healthy and balanced diet can have for us and am keen to share that knowledge. I understand that everyone is different and therefore approaches must be tailored to take into account people's history, environment, genetics, medications and lifestyle. I find it is also helpful to be realistic! We all lead busy lives and making sure that changes we make are achievable and realistic can go a long way. Even small changes can have such a positive effect on health.
My approach is to help and guide people. You are doing the hard work, but I am here to help you gain a deeper understanding of the importance of nutrition for you personally and to find an approach that you are comfortable with and fits into your work and home life. It is all about balance and identifying which foods which support you and your lifestyle. My aim is to help people achieve optimal health: feeling energetic, being pain free, coping well with stress, sleeping well and looking and feeling great, and to achieve this through showing you how foods may contribute to symptoms you experience.
