The String School is a chance for musicians of all levels to come together for a fun weekend of music, education and networking with fellow musicians. There will be workshops in Scottish Fiddle and Guitar during the day, opportunities to join in or just listen to sessions in the heart of Glasgow, and an amazing evening concert and ceilidh showcasing the incredible tutors who will be teaching over the weekend.
Workshops will be held in The Glasgow Gaelic School and will run from 10am to 4.30 on Saturday 2nd June 2018, with a concert and ceilidh in the evening. Classes will continue Sunday 3rd June 2018 from 10am to 3.30pm, allowing everyone to go to the Sunday Music Sessions in Glasgow if they wish to join in, or if they just want to listen to the music in the Glasgow session scene. The participants will be fully immersed into Scotland’s music and culture.
