Merchant Voices is a community choir based in the Glasgow City Halls. Rehearsals are on a Wednesday evening between 6.30 and 8.30. Membership is about 100 people of all ages who come together each week to enjoy singing a wide range of songs. The choirs' musical director is Stephen Langston and accompanist is Gilmour MacLeod. The Choir is a registered charity and is supported financially by memberships fees. The choir is managed by a voluntary committee from the membership of the choir. There are two to three performances a year two of which are within the City Halls.
