Hillstreet Bistro restaurant has been established since 1987 well situated in the heart of Edinburgh's New Town. Our restaurant has built up a reputation of quality fresh food at a reasonable price with customer service highly recommended.
In 2004 some of our customers suggested that we branch out and cater for offices. We quickly established a very good repertoire within the new town area and have since been catering for weddings, sports mans dinners, burns suppers, funerals, anniversaries, birthday parties, barbeques,buffets, canapies and many more through word of mouth.
We also can supply the full bar service including: drinks on arrival, toasting drinks, wine on the table for your guests
Due to our continued success we have had to set up our sister company Lamberton Catering Ltd. It operates from our restaurant the Hillstreet Bistro. We have gained an extensive knowledge and experience within the catering industry and are a family run business. We cover all areas of Scotland.

Our wedding menus are designed to give you choice in both the style of food you would like to complement your event, as well as guidance on serving suggestions and fixed prices to help you budget and plan every aspect of your catering requirements.
Prices are charged 'per head', and the majority of general equipment required to serve and present your meal including management of the catering for your day, crockery, cutlery and linen, is included.
As part of our quotation process, we will visit your venue with you to ascertain if additional equipment or resources are required and Robert will look after all weddings personally, with his dedicated team of professional waiting staff.
When we meet with you and your partner to help begin the planning and preparation, we can offer guidance on serving suggestions and the suitability of each selection, based on your guest numbers, equipment requirements and the limitations and facilities at your venue.
As a specialist marquee caterer, we can work in many different and difficult environments and will be able to guarantee that your meal is cooked and presented to the very highest standards possible.
