Thomas Barrie & Co. has been established in Glasgow for over 40 years. We have three partners and employ a further 11 staff serving businesses and private clients in Central Scotland and further afield. We are Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors and have a portfolio which includes private clients, sole traders, partnerships and sizeable owner managed companies. Our services cover not only the full range of compliance requirements for tax and audit, but also support services in areas such as book-keeping and payroll as well as general business advice on planning and finance issues. We are one of only three firms outside the “big four” who audit companies within the top 50 in Scotland and are in a position to look at any audit, irrespective of its size. Our sector experience is wide-ranging but we have a particular track record of working with businesses in the motor trade, licensed trade and advising solicitors and other professional firms, medical, dental and orthodontic practices. We have and continue to invest in state of the art IT that enables us to communicate effectively with our clients wherever they are. We take a pride in the quality of the firm's relationship with and service to its clients. Our motto is "The client comes first". Our staff tend to stay with us, the longest serving member being with us since 1965 with many other members having service well into double figures. This helps to ensure continuity of service.
