Joyce Young Design Studios is a unique business established in Scotland for twenty six years. Now using her own name instead of the company name the business has grown over the years with very dedicated and experienced teams in both Glasgow and London. Having her own production unit in Glasgow adjacent to the Scottish showroom gives the company complete control and flexibility of design and manufacture. The two elegant showrooms are relaxing environments where clients have undivided attention making sure their aspirations are met whether it's a Wedding, investiture, Ascot or any other Special Occasion.
Joyce Young, a graduate of the Glasgow School of Art, has been a fashion designer since 1975. Having gained vast experience in the fashion industry she decided to launch By Storm, a new concept in the bridal market. The first shop opened in 1994 in Bearsden, Glasgow.
Joyce designs for modern brides and stylish mothers and guests who want a less formal look. Joyce’s designs are sophisticated and flattering to the figure with a timeless understated elegance. The combination of simplicity of line and luxurious fabrics together with a keen eye for colour and detail make the 'By Storm Look' unique.
