Ronald McDonald House Glasgow is a Charity based within the grounds of the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow. We provide high quality, cost free accommodation to families who have seriously ill children in hospital.
We give families a safe base next to the hospital. This allows parents to remain close to their child without having to travel long distances. We have 31 en-suite bedrooms, a large kitchen and laundry facilities. Families can eat, sleep and focus on the most important thing – the health of their child.
We are a small independent Scottish charity and were established in December 1994. With no annual government or NHS funding, we rely solely on the kindness and generosity of donors and fundraisers to keep the doors of the House open, to provide families with a welcoming ‘home away from home’.
