Registered Nurse
Nurseplus is registered as a Nursing Agency with the Scottish Commission for the Regulation of Care and we are looking for experienced and reliable Registered Nurses to provide person-centred nursing care to clients resident in establishments that are also registered with the Care Inspectorate. We are looking to recruit on a timesheet basis to work within the Greater Glasgow area. The successful candidates will have experience in providing nursing care to predominately older people however we are also looking for experienced nurses with experience Learning Disability, Mental Health, Neuro-rehabilitation and Young Physically Disabled clients. You will have access to the Registered Manager/RN or another clinical senior member of staff 24 hours per day for continuous guidance and support.
Clinical Supervision is provided on a regular basis as well as training and support for your re-validation. Awareness of the National Health and Social Care Standards is desirable. Responsibilities: Supporting the contracted establishment’s management team with the day to day service delivery Administering medication in line with the company and NMC code of conduct Providing leadership to the care team during your shift. Maintaining accurate records.
Providing detailed handover information to the care team Ensuring adult support and protection procedures are implemented Liaising with Healthcare colleagues to ensure high standards of Nursing Care are delivered Upholding the reputation of Nurseplus as a reputable national provider of nursing and social care Minimum requirements to work with Nurseplus as an RN At least 1 year’s post registration experience Ability to lead a shift and communicate effectively with healthcare colleagues Valid NMC Pin Implementation of the nursing process ensuring accurate record keeping Medication administration You must have the right to work within the UK You must have a good standard of English and be able to communicate effectively A warm, compassionate and personable nature with the ability to work with patience, tact and understanding. An awareness of Adult Support and Protection procedures Dementia Awareness Benefits of working with Nurseplus as an RN Pay rates from £17.50 up to £31 per hour, weekly pay, depending on shift worked.
